Thanks to many of your prayers and support, Spirit Groove is BACK!!! That's right, Spirit Groove is bringing you "Groovin' for Mak: Purpose, Pain and Perfection of a Man" kicking off Feb. 23, 2002 @ 6:51 p.m. in a new place. Spirit Groove will now be held at the Canyon Club located in the Bronco Bowl in Dallas, TX. Many of you know the McKinley "Makdaddy" Hailey, who founded Spirit Groove, passed into eternity in October 2002. So we want to take time out to remember a man who gave his time. money and energy for us, but we can't do it alone. We want all of you to come out, not only that, but to bring others with you to help us get it crunk. For the first time you will be able to see a "tag team" off the chain Spoken Word from Terrance "Too Real" Autry, Stephen "GQ" Brown and Metric "Big Met" Manning. I don't think many of you will be ready, but also in the house will be:

• The SpiritGroove Playaz
• Spirit Filled Poetry
• Drinks and Snacks
• An open mic where you can express your views, get your questions answered or just share your talent
• And as always a couple of surprises
