Our first event was held on Sunday, November 19, 2000 at 7:36 P.M. at the Gypsy Tea Room in Deep Ellum in Dallas, Texas. Why 7:36? Why not?

The purpose of this first event is really to just get started and establish a context. We will use this time to figure what to do so that next time we will really have our stuff together. Now don't be fooled, Spirit Groove #1 will be the "Jam of a Lifetime" Featuring the smooth Sound of the "SGroove Playaz" (Yes we made this up but they're BAAAAAAD!)

The theme for our first night is "Haunted House," dealing with the liar, cheater, deceiver, heartbreaker in us. Sometimes we get involved in good relationships and do the stupidest things to blow it. We'll get a perspective on "Why we do DAT" and on what we can do to protect ourselves from our own selves. Check us out!
